Uploaded: July 7, 2016 |  0 Comments  |

The State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) of the Individuals with Disabilities Act provides a framework for continuous improvement in educational outcomes for students with disabilities. An additional new requirement of the SPP/APR is the State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP) built around a particular focus area. Pennsylvania is working to increase the graduation rate and decrease the dropout rate for students with disabilities. Participants will examine the following:
1) research-based strategies to help students with disabilities stay in school, graduate, and become contributing members of society, and 2) current updates of the local implementation of SSIP.
