Sensory Issues: From the Clinic to Home and School

Sensory-based interventions are utilized for individuals with sensory issues with a variety of diagnoses and ages. There is little evidence to validate the use of these interventions. This evidence based workshop informs the participants and multi-disciplinary teams about the sensory systems available for intervention, how to select a sensory based intervention using a hypothesis and systematic data collection to determine if the sensory based intervention changes behavior.
