Uploaded: May 23, 2014 |  0 Comments  |

Cyberbullying is affecting many youth in our schools, communities and homes. With the ever increasing availability of the internet via social media sites and the advances in smartphone technology, youth are subjected to cyberbullying wherever and whenever they carry their phones. With a widening knowledge gap between parents, educators and youth, it is difficult to keep up with the trends that may be silently attacking our students, clients and children. This presentation is designed to outline current trends, identify warning signs and provide resources to prevent and combat cyberbullying. It will further explore the impact that cyberbullying and social media are having on the developing brain.
