Integrating Mobile Technology Tools into Evidence-Based Practices for Speech-Language Pathologists

This session will provide an update to the October 2011 training, iPads and iPods in Classroom and Therapy Settings: Powerful Tools for SLPs and Special Educators for speech language pathologists. The training will include a review of features of current apps, demonstrations of apps for use in a variety of evidence based speech language practices, including use as an augmentative and alternative communication tool. The session will provide participants with ideas and resources for evaluating the appropriateness and use of apps as a tool to support evidence based individual goals and as a means to access the general education curriculum.
