23. Telepractice: Using Distance Technology to Connect, Communicate, and Enhance Language Learning in Children

Today, an array of distance technology — combined with broadband Internet connections — is available to assist early interventionists, educators, speech-language pathologists, and paraprofessionals in enhancing the communication development and learning in children with speech and language deficits. This presentation will address innovative uses of distance technology to increase child/student engagement, attention, and improved learning and communication outcomes.
