Data-Based Problem Solving: Tier 1

This session will provide an in-depth description of the 4-Step Problem Solving Process applied to a school’s core (Tier 1) behavior system. Participants will learn possible data sources for identifying problems, monitoring progress, determining fidelity of implementation, and the questions that guide the process. Exemplars will be provided along with practice and application exercises. The session will also present strategies to successfully use this process in the school including team foundations and integrating into current school processes. Action plans will be developed by participants to help them implement the components covered in the training.
