School-Based Behavioral Health: The Establishment of School-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports

The following handouts were provided for the 2011-2012 school-based behavioral health performance grant: Establishment of SWPBIS webinar on July 29, 2011. The performance grants are designed to support the establishment of School-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) in newly implementing sites not yet affiliated with the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Network (PAPBS). The grants are designed to support the development of a continuum of behavioral health services that focus on universal prevention, strategic intervention (secondary intervention), and intensive service delivery or crisis management needs of school-aged students (tertiary intervention).

Handout 1: Request for Proposal – This document details the grant priorities and outlines specific items to be addressed in the application
Handout 2: Application – This document is to be completed by LEAs interested in applying for an Establishment of SWPBIS grant
Handout 3: Webinar PowerPoint – This document was used during the July 29th webinar. It contains additional information on the Establishment grant and can assist interested applicants in completing the application.
