"PAWS" for Good Behavior!

We “PAWS” for Good Behavior!
Abraham Lincoln Elementary School Lions were looking for ways to reinforce good behavior for their students and also get families involved in supporting their children’s positive strides. The school developed and now uses the “PAWS” for good behavior program and it is reinforced with their pledge:“As an Abraham Lincoln family we “PAWS” for good behavior. We are “Proud” to be responsible. We will “Act” safely. We “Will” be respectful. We will “Show” citizenship. We are a community of learners working together.“Parents, teachers, and other staff all work together for the success of the students’ PAWS program that is part of School Wide Positive Behavior. Parents in the district play a role in knowing their child’s specific grade-level behavior expectations; signing the PAWS Contract, thereby agreeing to support their child in meeting behavior expectations; modeling and reinforcing responsibility, safety, respect and good citizenship at home; and participating in celebrating the positive behavior successes of their child.Congratulations to the Lincoln Lions – they are creating a “PAWSitive environment!
